The electric hand held leaf blower is a lightweight leaf blower, most models weigh under 7 pounds, that means you won’t strain your arm too much. Despite their light weight, some of them are almost as powerful as gas models. But unlike gas models, these electric ones don’t produce any smelly, polluting exhaust.
They are intended for decks, small yards or walkways. More expensive models have an optional vacuum mode, this option will often shred the leaves as it sucks them up. That definately makes your job that much easier.
The only downside to an electric leaf blower is the length of the cord, it restricts you to blowing leaves within 100 feet of the closest power outlet. It wrapped around trees, depending on the layout of your yard. If you decide this is the right choice for your yard, expect to pay between $40 and $150 for a high quality model.
